first birthday cake smashSince opening the Newark studio two years ago, first birthday session have quickly become my favorite session to photograph! Its almost twice the amount of work from any other session (even a newborn session) but I love it! We run around with your 12 month old ball of energy capturing their true personality then bring in the cake! Some 1 year olds dislike the idea of getting the cake on them.. others dive in with giggles and wide eyes! After having a few session at the studio I quickly realized these babies can't go home a mess! So I started doing bubble bath clean up photos at the end of each cake smash! These last photos we take at the cake smash session will be some of your favorites from your child's session, I promise!
