A milk bath is nourishing to the skin as well as the mind. When Melissa asked me to photograph her second pregnancy I knew I wanted the session to have a natural feel to it. I used a combo of natural and artificial lighting to achieve the light wrap-around effect on the first few photos. Melissa wanted a silhouette so we used her brightest room for that photo. Lastly, we started the bath water, added the powder milk and wild flowers then had a moment of peace and quite while I photographed her and her belly in the master bathroom's tub. This series of photos is exactly what I wanted to create for Melissa and her family. As my sister said, "She'll have these images to cherish for a lifetime"
