Since the studio opened, in March, I noticed I didn't get out much this spring and summer.. but then fall hit! Fall is my most favorite season to photograph portraits on location! It's the combination of not being sweaty, my love for boots, and the beautiful colors of autumn that paint my backgrounds!
Most of the time I have little ones to keep in mind. IE: Making silly noises, running around, jumping up and down. It was nice to switch it up and have a more mature family!

If I've photographed your wedding and you were lucky enough to have Andrew as your second shooter.. this is his little girl that was born October 21st. I had the pleasure of photographing her newborn session! She was a dream to work with and cooperated so well.. I kept saying "She's definitely a photographer's daughter!"
If you're interested in a newborn session with Nicole, email [email protected] You can find info on session fees here..

A busy fall means no time to blog.. However today is a special day! Its Thanksgiving! Today also happens to be the first birthday of Amelia! As we reflect on what we're thankful for today I wanted to share a few words..

December 1st marks the 9 month mark of opening my residential studio. Everyday that I hang up the appointment board outside I have the over whelming feeling of gratitude. I'm so thankful for all of the families that invest in small businesses ever year. Especially, my small business. So, Thank you!!
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy First Birthday, Mia!

I've been photographing Carter since he was in his mommy's belly! Since he was having a Mickey Mouse themed party I had my baker decorate the cake with that in mind. I think it turned out great!! Cake smashes are always so much fun! My favorite way to document a first birthday!
Enjoy!

When Lucy's mom told me she wanted the studio session to include her wedding gown I was so excited! The very next day I purchased this new colorful mannequin background!! I was nervous with her only being two and so tiny.. but the dress fit perfect (with the help of two clamps) and she was fine with the veil! Such a good little girl! The best part of the day was her stepping into her moms high heels.. that shot just gets me! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
