Locations
Sessions can be done in studio or at an agreed upon location . Locations can be a park, playground, local horticultural center or even your backyard! The studio I operate from is located in Wilmington Delaware. The studio has a parking lot, dressing rooms, and a "homely" feel.
Preparation
Be sure to get a good nights rest and eat before so you can relax and enjoy yourself! Children can sense stressful energy and often will act against it. If a child is not feeling well, it's better to reschedule for a different day. A session can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours. If the arrangement is to meet at a park for an outdoor session make sure to bring snacks, a beverage, and a outfit change!
What to wear
Stay way from clothing with written logos, tube tops (you'll look naked in close ups), and white clothing (when taking portraits with more than one person.) I suggest dressing in layers. Going bare foot is always fun, and bare bottom babies are cute too!
My style
My number one focus is just that, I focus on the eyes producing crisp, clear, brilliant portraits. Along with this I use my talent to capture natural expressions as well as offering posed shots for more traditional portraits. You'll choose from a mixture of candid and posed images when selecting your prints. All images are photographed in color and then are manipulated in post production. I use a laid back technique. Good energy makes great photos!
After the session
I'll be just as excited as you to see the images from our session, so I'll be sending you a sneak peek via e-mail to share with friends and family. Please do forward the e-mail on! After our session we will select a day to review the images and place your print order. Prints that are ordered during the review are at a significant discount. Images will be available online for ordering, but will not be at a discounted rate.
